In the early 1990's, Emmet set two goals: Start a software company that would achieve $1 billion in revenue and start a Formula One team. In 1998, Emmet and Maurice Martin co-founded iRise with a vision to transform how business and IT stakeholders communicate about requirements for custom and packaged business software projects. Inventing the market for "software visualization," they have built iRise into the world's leading provider of enterprise visualization for business software. As CEO & Co-Founder, Emmet has leveraged his network, raising over $60 million in investment funding.
In 2005, Emmet founded the iRise Executive Roundtable Series with a vision to deliver world-class thought leadership and networking events for CIOs, completely focused on ideas and discussions rather than selling. Over the last decade, thousands of global business and IT leaders have attended.
Emmet is also a Venture Advisor at Insight Venture Partners, a Resident Expert at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, an Advisory Council Member at DocuSign, on the Advisory Board at UST Global and a Founding Board Member of the Corporate Coalition at Peace One Day.
Finally, Emmet is a Board Director and Co-Owner of the Campos Racing team which competes for the F4, F3, GP3, GP2, Formula E and WTCC championships. Emmet holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley. He lives in London and enjoys his family, driving Radical SR3's, travelling, photography, skiing and playing drums in a blues rock band.
